So with whilst you walk around the shops doing your christmas shopping bombarded with with Sinatra, The Wizard and Shakin Stevens ringing in your ears, have a think about the following: Average household debt including mortgages is £55,808 Personal interest paid daily in the UK is £174 million Approx daily amount of people made redundant is 1,611 Amount of people unemployed for 12 months is 868,000 Approx daily write off of loans by banks and building sociieties is £15.68 million A property will be repossessed on average every 14.28 minutes Someone will be declared bankrupt or insolvent every 4.35 minutes Approx daily increase in Government national debt (PSDN) is £185,200,000 Approx total value of purchases made using plastic cards each day since September 2011 is £1,276,733,333 These are real figures and you have to ask the question....
