TERMS OF TRADING
Integrity Financial Services will:-
· Act upon your instructions at all times and in accordance with all current and relevant legislation.
· Act in accordance with the Office of Fair Trading guidelines for Debt Management Companies.
· Provide our best advice and discuss with you solutions to your financial
difficulties.
- Negotiate with your creditors and /or their representatives upon your behalf.
· Continue acting for you until a definitive solution has been found or a letter of termination has been sent and received by either party.
· Instruct an Insolvency practitioner or other professional where their services are required.
· In some instances recommend the services of other companies and individuals which are done in good faith and with no liability on the part of Integrity Financial Services Ltd.
· Not make any promises or give any guarantees in respect of our endeavors in seeking a solution to your financial difficulties.
- Hold and record your information on computer and in paper based files in
accordance with The Data Protection Act.
· Will allow you to examine our records at anytime regarding your case.
· Not hold money on your behalf or make payments direct to your creditors.
· Not refund fees, unless previously agreed in writing with the owners of
Integrity Financial Services Ltd (your statutory rights are not affected)
- In the event of a written complaint will within 48 hours of receipt,
acknowledge it and respond directly with you to resolve it or failing this
will instruct the local trading standards office to fully investigate and
report their findings to both parties. We shall then abide to their decision.
Responsibilities of you, the client:
· Give written authority for Integrity Financial Services Ltd to act on your behalf.
· Continue to make voluntary payments of priority debts such as mortgage, rent, Council tax and utility bills.
· Provide true and accurate information regarding your financial circumstances at all times. If after investigation serious irregularities are discovered we reserve the right to charge additional fees to compensate for any increased work required, or to withdraw our services with a refund of fee’s less costs and time charged to date.
· Keep us informed of any change in your circumstances and forward on to us any future correspondence concerning your financial position.
· NOT to obtain more credit by way of credit card, loan (secured or unsecured).
· Be aware of the fact that regardless of our efforts some creditors may continue to add interest and charges to your account, and this will obviously increase the monies that you owe to your creditors.
· Be aware that although the majority of creditors will freeze any interest, they are NOT under any obligation to do so, and may still take further action against you.
· Be aware that making small token payments WILL lengthen amount of time of which you will remain in debt.
· Be aware that there is no guarantee we will be able to stop any court action against you.
· Understand that any debt that is not repaid in full WILL have a negative effect on your credit rating.
